Problem Behaviour Support
veterinary referral only
I offer individualised, evidence-informed behaviour support for dogs experiencing behavioural difficulties. My approach focuses on understanding the factors contributing to a dog's behaviour, supporting their welfare and emotional needs, and developing practical strategies tailored to each dog and their household.
How Behaviour Support Works
Behaviour support begins with understanding your dog's individual needs, history and circumstances. Following veterinary referral, I will gather information about your dog's behaviour, identify potential contributing factors and develop a tailored behaviour and management plan. This may include environmental adjustments, enrichment, practical training strategies and ongoing support to help improve your dog's welfare and emotional wellbeing.
Veterinary Referrals
As a pre-certified Candidate Member working towards clinical animal behaviour accreditation, I provide clinical behaviour support following veterinary referral. This helps ensure that potential medical factors are considered and that your dog receives appropriate, coordinated care.
If you feel your dog would benefit from behaviour support, you can contact me to discuss your concerns and ask about the next steps. I can explain the referral process and help you understand how to approach your veterinary practice. Getting in touch does not commit you to booking a consultation.
